Scottish Certificate for Licensed Premises Staff (SCLPS)
This interactive online course is ideal for training members of staff who’s job role involves the sale of alcohol by retail in Scotland. Scottish licensing law states all members of staff working on licensed premises must have a basic knowledge of the Scottish licensing Act 2005. Our online course covers the required criteria prescribed by the Act and also includes a section on acceptable forms of proof of age.
Each SCLPS course includes a certificate of training and an individual staff training record (also a legal requirement).
Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holder (5 year refresher course) SCPLH/R
Every Scottish personal licence holder has a legal requirement to undertake a refresher course on the Scottish licensing Act 2005. Our half day SCPLH refresher courses are now available and give candidates the required knowledge and understanding of any updates to the Licensing Act. This SCPLH/R Level 6 licensing law refresher course is accredited by an SQA approved awarding body.
The mandatory licensing qualification for personal licence applicants in England and Wales. If you intend to work in England or Wales and are engaged in selling alcohol by retail then you will require the level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders licensing qualification. Our Designated Premises Supervisor advanced training course enhances the knowledge and confidence of the personal licence holder, providing the trainee with the skills to operate confidently as a Designated Premises Supervisor. (available in England and Wales only).
