The SCPLH qualification is aimed at managers and supervisors or any person authorising, supervising, the retail sale of alcohol. Both on or off licensed premises. Also any indivdual seeking to gain the SCPLH qualification and personal licence. In order to qualify for a personal Licence, an applicant must by Law hold a Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH) licensing qualification which is:
- Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) accredited
- Approved by the Scottish Government
The EDI Level 5 Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders is accredited by SQA and has been specifically designed to meet the statutory requirements of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005. Once you have obtained your SCPLH certificate, you can apply for a Scottish Personal Licence.
